Free Things to Do in Chicago

Just a tip for travelers preparing to go to Chicago. When I prepared for my travel to Chicago, I found this website, Free Things to Do in Chicago at chicagofree.info, and I found it to be a comprehensive summary of all the latest free things to do in Chicago. I was able to find a number of things to add to my itinerary from this website, including free things to do with my wife and three children. It had loads on information on free museums days in Chicago, free events around the city, free festivals, free things to do on holiday with the children, free concerts by the Symphony folks, free outdoor events and other free stuff. I found it helpful -- maybe you will to!

A home from home

One of the coolest cities i've been to,Friendly, exciting 24/7,great food from every content ,great for musiums site seeing or just chiling out in one of the many bars .The northside being my favourite with the charactor and friendly neighbourhoods .

The city that has it all!

Chicago has it all. Live music everywhere, major sports teams, friendly people (they love the English accent), great food, great theatre (check out The Blue Man Group), awesome food from around the world, a beautiful skyline, awesome architecture, a cool river running through it and some very funky bars. Everything that you are looking for in a city break can be found in Chicago. One week was nowhere near enough time for me to do everything that I wanted to do.

Best in the Midwest

Chicago is the best place to visit in the Midwest! The attraction and things to do are plenty! You would need a whole week to do everything in Chicago!

Lived thare for many years

Has a good atmosphare, lots of polution and lots of crime. The food is good but there are alot places whare the food is better. The old neighborhoods whare the food and atmosphare were one of a kind have been torn down and replaced with an lettusentertain you kind of establishment.

Child friendly

Great city with lots of activities, especially for children. This city didn't forget about the children when it came to entertainment. Night life great.

Chicago's great

I liked everything about Chi as I grew up there..around Diversy and Sheffield..about a short hop from Wrigley field...my heros were Gabby Hartnett Stan Hack and Billy Herman. Chicago is the best city in the country...with Milwaukee a close second.

I love this place

Great place for weekend get away, plenty to do and see. Great food and night life. Great place for any season. My wife and I will be coming back again
