As its name implies, this hotel sits right at the start of the famous Waikiki Beach district. Many visitors think the location is one of the best in Honolulu, especially now that Hawaii's new convention center has opened two blocks away. This is what the management calls a "no nonsense place," but that doesn't mean cheap or tacky. The rooms are of ample size and very comfortable. The staff is friendly without being pushy, and families are welcome. The understated and lovely lobby makes a great first impression. There is an activities desk where guests can book snorkeling, boating and other activities. One of Honolulu's finest seafood eateries, Nick's Fishmarket, is on the ground floor.

Good value

Nice location right in front of a park, at the edge of Waikiki frenzy. \nFree continental breakfast & free Internet access, friendly staff, hospitality room for late evening departures. Parking 10 USD. Interior a bit worn away, though overall a good value.

I spent a lotta nice time

I really liked this hotel.They offered us very nice service.There were an internet room,free-breakfast service,small pool,great view from the room...etc..I would like to stay here next time like I did before.

Most Unpleasant Stay

On my arrival at the hotel, I was almost forced to move to a different hotel.I managed to stay there only after I refuted so angrily. \nThe complementary Continental breakfast was almost worst one can imagine. Besides, they close at 9AM despite their published time of 10AM.
