01 May 2009 | meganecclestonWe booked through Airtours, the holiday seemed good value for money, and weve been to Tunisia lots of times, so knew what to expect. The hotel was clean, rooms standard size with 2x english speaking news channels, fridge, hairdryer and safe free of charge. The pool area was ok, with a childrens pool and a larger pool. Plenty of sunbeds all day everday so no need to reserve even though the hotel was full. The restaurant was nice, serving local and international dishes, all of which were well presented. You could sit anywhere for breakfast and lunch, but you were allocated a table for your evening meal, if you didnt like where you were seated you could move. The beach was clean with plenty more sunbeds there too. The only problem we had was that our room was crawling with ants. We have never experienced this type of problem before. The hotel did let us move rooms, however it seemed other guests on our corridor were having the same problem too. Obviously the pest control was not up to scratch. Shame really because the little critters spoilt what would have been an ok holiday.
01 Oct 2007 | A Yahoo! UserAs we normally book only five star hotels, and it was our first trip to Tunisia I admit I was worried. But the super friendly staff, the spacious rooms (always spotlessly clean), the great food.......makes you wonder why ONLY four stars for this hotel? The hotel staff is really super friendly, any request was handled quickly and efficiently. The restaurant is a buffet where everyone can find his or her own interest, from mediteranean dishes to traditional Tunisian food and the pastry is simply hard to resist. The cleaning staff really keeps the rooms very clean and is very friendly. The animation team also deserves a compliment they are busy the day round to amuse the guests, but never to bother anyone or by being banal. One word of warning, avoid the leathershop in the hotel, unless you want to be pestered by its manager the remainder of your holiday.
