This small hotel, located across the street from TheatreBooks in Toronto's elite Yorkville area, was built in 1927. Closed in 1991, the property was restored in 1995 and recently re-opened to offer the luxury of Neo-Gothic design combined with modern conveniences. Rooms range in size from 500 to 1,500 square feet. The luxurious stained glass and archways throughout the hotel match the elegant exteriors. A caviar lounge, Club 22, Courtyard Cafe, Prime Piano Lounge and poolside fireplace are a few specific features of this hotel. Famous for its tea brunch, the hotel also has a tea-room, a lounge and a steakhouse.

Very, very disappointed

The hotel seemed at first impressive but the lack of attention to detail begins to mount - and most significantly when one is paying top dollar to stay in a high end hotel one does not expect to be kept awake long into the night by the noise from a 'private function' which has also denied guests use of the restaurant, bar etc. More to the point the stories changed about what time the noise would end, and the end result was a lack of respect and regard to the paying guests at the hotel. These things happen, but they should not happen at a high-end boutique hotel and in my view the management at the Windsor Arms is playing out of its league. We will not return.
