Located in the hub of downtown Edmonton, the Dayys Inn- Edmonton is an affordable, five-storey, 100% non-smoking, hotel just 20 minutes away from West Edmonton and a five-minute walk from the Edmonton Convention Centre. The hotel lobby has a wood-accented decor which is a nice welcome. The rooms are bright and cheerful, with neutral-colored walls and furnishings, colorful bed coverings, and rich, warm carpets. They are comfortable and well equipped, with fax ports and modem hookups for computers. The hotel amenities include free wireless hi-speed Internet access, free guest overnight parking, free local calls and daily newspaper.

Great Location
When I stay in Edmonton, my first choice is the Days Inn. It's a good, clean average-priced hotel in a great location, near the LRT, great restaurants, Audrey's bookshop, and the Alberta Legislative Building.

We stayed in this motel a while back, and it is without a doubt, the grossest most disgusting place we have ever stayed. When we first walked in the room, we noticed there was feces smeared on a number of places in the bathroom. We turned down the sheets on our bed and found no less than 6 long black hairs on the sheets and pillow. When we called the front desk, we were informed that there was no one available to change the bedding we would have to do it ourselves, which we did. The carpet was so disgustingly dirty, we had our kids keep their shoes on to keep them from getting who knows what kind of diseases from the floor. Upon returning home, we called Days Inn Canada to inform them of our experience. We received a call from the Edmonton manager soon after and were told we could have 25% off our next stay. We informed her that we will NEVER be staying there again. AVOID THIS PLACE.
