Exceptional hotel in downtown Edmonton; Great value

4 stars

This is a landmark building in Edmonton and - at one point in the 1960's - thetallest building in the city. \n \nThe hotel has a kind of retro-cool to it - with it's circular architecture and rotating restaurant at the top of the building. \n \nThe views from the rooms and the restaurant are amazing. \n \nThe rooms are very comefortable and homey - and are pie slice-shaped. The rooms seem to be updated with new furniture - but still seem to have an upscale 60's feel to them. \n \nThe room was not huge - but very comfortable. \n \nThe rotating restaurant is upscale - but the food was amazing. Make sure you try the deserts - especially the cheesecake. \n \nAlso, the room price makes this an exceptional deal. I paid $69 for a room with an amazing view of the valley during peak season. That just can't be beaten. \n \nOverall, staying here was extremely satisfying and I will certainly stay here next time I am in Edmonton.
